PODCASTS, VIDEO, AND MEDIA
Sometimes the best way to learn is complete immersion. If you're craving quality writing content for a hectic commute or your downtime, the following podcasts and video series run the gamut between academic and fun.

    Podcasts

    VS Podcast Archives

VS is not really like anything else. Originally hosted by poets Danez Smith and Franny Choi, VS adds irreverant (but still deep) interviews with contemporary US poets. If you want to laugh as much as learn, this is the one for you.

    The Slowdown Podcast

Hosted by poet Major Jackson (and once hosted by poet Tracy K. Smith), the Slowdown is about pausing for a moment to take in a poem without judgment or pretense. Each episode consists of a reading of the poem and a short reflection.

    Let's Talk Memoir Podcast

Hosted by writer and memoirist Ronit Plank, Let's Talk Memoir focuses on interviewing up-and-coming and established memoirist. Often the conversation centers around practical writing and publishing advice.

    Writing Excuses Podcast

Writing Excuses offers a quick bite (usually under 30 minutes) of writing advice on topics that range from how to write foreshadowing to navigating mentorship and more.
